Our story began over the last hundred years when the River Road Exchange was home to a bustling fruit shipping and processing facility. Connected to the major metropolis by water (the greater Sacramento River) via steamer ships, the goods were transferred to and from the boathouse directly onto rail cars. Nestled together on over 6 acres, these historic warehouses are loaded with old world charm. Our vision at the River Road Exchange is to cultivate a well-planned multi use destination for the greater Sacramento metropolis to embrace and honor its agricultural history and architecture.

The Clarksburg Appellation is fast becoming a major winery market. We sit in the heart of the delta, over on the Sacramento River, along the old river road. Antique car clubs and biking groups love to travel our scenic route and look for places to stop along the way. The community is built of generations of farmers who having been supporting the farm to fork movement for centuries. With the newly opened onsite wedding venue (The Willow Ballroom), this gem of a property is now on the map!
